San Bernardino Food Handler Course
The San Bernardino County food worker class is available online at the links below in both English and Spanish. Anyone may take the class in either format and then take the test.

County of San Bernardino, Environmental Health Services is now offering an online food worker training course starting September 1st, 2011. Although there are several food worker card certification options available to the public, workers in food facilities in San Bernardino County are required to obtain their food worker card only from San Bernardino County, Environmental Health Services within 14 days of employment.
This new online training can be found at: www.sbcounty.gov/dehs , by clicking on the “Food Worker Training” link and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The test and training take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete and training participants can instantly print the food worker card as proof of training. In an event that a computer with internet access is not available, Environmental Health Services will have computers available at each of our 3 office locations in San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga and Hesperia or you can check with your local library. The online test will benefit food workers by eliminating having to drive to a testing facility. Additionally, the training can be taken at your own pace and in the comfort of your home. Training participants are able to retake the test only once. The cost to obtain a food worker card is $22. Only credit, debit and prepaid debit cards are accepted.
